Halloween

We have had some exceptionally warm days here in South Carolina, and coupled with a few cold days two weeks ago makes a great recipe for another ear infection! I mean double ear infection! Phew....We spent the afternoon at the doctor again, but thankful I went, and now hopefully Margaret is on the mend.

For Halloween this year we celebrated with a mini party over at Alexis & Pickens House, as Mac hosted all his friends for a little monster bash! Days leading up to the party, we enjoyed a hay rides and the pumpkin patch at Clinton Sease Farm, Prospect's Trunk or Treat, Eastminster Day School's Fall Festival, and Eastminster Church's Trunk or Treat. I just had to take a breath typing all of that. We committed to every Fall Festival and Halloween event and boy we have had fun.

Ten Months

Here we are, ten months! It's like clock work, come 7am shes up ready for her day, and boy we better be ready too! When my (our) feet hit the floor they are 100 miles an hour until bedtime.

We all are truly enjoying EDS, the teachers and her schedule. I think we are finally getting the hang of things, as Margaret is sleeping now about 2 hours during the day (naps at school), and enjoys her crib come bedtime.

Playtime at home consists of pulling out all my tupperware containers, pulling up on the dishwasher, swinging outside, going for stroller walks, pulling out all her toys all over the den, crawling underneath anything she can fit underneath or between, chasing the vacuum around the house, pointing at all her pumpkins, and rocking on the front porch. She loves park dates with friends, any fruit, ritz crackers, being held, her lovey, her bottle, and mama and dada. She loathes her changing table, not being held, and if you don't share your food with her.

We've been to the doctor four times over the last two weeks, so I know exactly how much she weighs, 19 lbs and 12 oz. For the first time ever, we've been doing breathing treatments because her congestion from her double ear infection has moved into her lungs. I am slowly seeing signs of improving after day three of treatments, so things are looking up!

Breathing Room

I thought I would title this post "breathing room" after our Sunday school class at church has been studying Andy Stanley's Breathing Room mini series. It fits perfect with our life right now, as Charlie and I agree we barely have any breathing room from working full time, taking care of Margaret, and all the other responsibilities that come along with being a wife, husband, mother and father. (Hence a long hiatus from my sweet little blog)

It's the most wonderful gift, but boy have we had barely any breathing room. That's why I haven't shared some of our photos in a while. I am finally almost finished with Margaret's photo album, it only took me eight months to start, but it helps getting up at 5:00am some mornings to get a few things accomplished off my to -do list.

Margaret is officially a crawler, however, she still prefers the army crawling method over any method of getting around. She is starting to pull up, and it's the cutest thing watching her little chubby legs push with all their might.

At school they have been studying apples and pumpkins. She can point to all her pumpkins in the house, as we have at least 7, and she can say "apppp" when I say apple to her. They studied apples for two weeks at school, sang songs about them and did an activity with applesauce.

Our adventures over the past three weeks have taken us to Mooresville for a family reunion, Players birthday party in Bishopville and the SC State Fair.

My little muffin is getting so big, and her "reddish" hair is growing rapidly!
