Charlie and I enjoyed a date night, just the two of us on Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving at Tazza Kitchen. We had a great check-up at the doctor earlier that day, and I wanted to celebrate with another "date night" because we are on serious baby watch. :)
Thanksgiving morning I was up early making a pecan pie, chesse pie, and an appetizer for the Mimms/Couch Thanksgiving, which was held in Bishopville at Mrs. Polly's house. My parents drove down for the festivities and stayed with us on Thursday PM.
Early Friday morning my Mama and I enjoyed a nice long walk around the neighborhood, as she prepared me in detail for labor. She was a labor & delivery nurse for 15+ years, so I'm blessed to have her as a resource. Friday afternoon we went back to Bishopville and spent the day with Sloan and the Mimms' side of the family. What a great Thanksgiving with both families!
We ended the nice long weekend at the Clemson/Carolina game on Saturday and finally decorated our house for Christmas Sunday evening.
