My sweet little lamb

My sweet little lamb is getting so big! She will be 20 weeks tomorrow! It's hard to believe that almost five months ago we were at Baptist Hospital ready to welcome our sweet little angel into the world. She has no idea how much we love her, literally has no idea. She hit the jack pot with her Daddy. She is one blessed little girl to have him as her Daddy. I cannot imagine being a single mother or having a husband who isn't involved, my heart goes out to those of you who are single mothers. I RESPECT you on many many levels. Charlie does way more than his fair share, gives 150% ALL the time, which makes parenting and being his wife undeserving! Thank you for all you do for us.

The past week has been so fun bee-bopping around Cola town. We met Ejoye, Lilla and their babies for lunch on Saturday at Tazza while Daddy played 9 holes, we enjoyed a fun dinner out with Papa and Nana at Bonefish (Charlie's Dad and his fiancé). Church is always an adventure mainly because it's during Margaret's nap time, but she loves the choir, so she tries to sing along most Sundays. :)

14 Pounds!

Margaret, Charlie and I had a wonderful weekend in Cola town. I can't remember the last time Charlie and I enjoyed an entire weekend together with Margaret, in Columbia, with just us. It was so nice to not have any big commitments, just a weekend of relaxing and having fun.

Margaret was exposed to lots of activities this past weekend. We took her to dinner with us to Za's on Friday evening. She loved sitting on the patio listening to the guitarist, and meeting so many people. She also enjoyed her first Soda City Farmers Market, Mack's 2nd Bday, Church on Sunday and lunch at Groucho's. While Dada played golf, Margaret and I visited Miss Billie and went for a long run. We also had a hotdog cookout Sunday evening!

I also dressed Margaret in her new bathing suit and beach hat. I wanted to make sure they were gonna fit for our beach vacations this year!

Just a side note, Margaret weighs 14 pounds! Doctor said I could go ahead and start rice cereal, but said to mix with water, not milk! :)

A very special sacred day

Margaret was baptized on Sunday, April 3rd, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Charlie and I joined Eastminster two years ago, and wanted Margaret to be baptized at the church where we are becoming active members.

We both couldn't wait to have her baptized, as we wanted to profess in front of the church our love for Christ, and that we will need the entire congregation's help in raising her to one day know and accept the Lord as her savior. I pray everyday, little girl, that you will one day know Him, and he forever will change your life when you do.

My Mom, Polly, Kathleen and Ejoye helped with this special day. We will forever cherish it, and are thankful for all our friends and family who came to celebrate, as they will each have a profound impact on her life.
