Holiday Cheer!! (and a few illnesses)

Life has taken me away from typing and sharing our beloved memories the last few weeks. A quick recap, so you can fully understand why my hiatus has been sooo long!

Margaret had surgery two weeks ago, where Dr. Giles in Columbia inserted ear tubes for her chronic ear infections. She's a completely new person! Charlie, my Mama and myself all shared the awful Rotavirus a few weeks ago. AND the icing on the cake has been Charlie's severe abdominal pain which had led us to two different ER's, a full day in the doctors office, and seeing a specialist last week. Needless to say, we are so thankful its nothing very serious, but will know more as this week progresses.

Margaret has us on our toes more than ever. She is crawling everywhere. Definitely showing signs of wanting to walk soon, but still prefers to crawl over attempting to walk. Each day presents itself with new obstacles, as she is trying to say words, laughs, cries, appears to know how to throw a temper tantrum, and can fake cry. Charlie and I are guilty of looking at each other when she fake cries or attempts to throw a tantrum, and we try to hide our giggles. SHE knows how to get her way! :)

I'm looking forward to taking a Christian discipline class this winter, as I feel she is showing very early signs of "testing" us. I'm a sucker for a grin, a cry or a "hold me, hold me", so I'm excited to see how I can create a great learning environment for both us.

She is an earthly angel, and I can't believe I am in the throws of the final preparations for her 1st Birthday Party, which is this weekend, on her actual birthday.

Below are a few pictures from Thanksgiving, Tree Hunting, and being silly around the house.
